Health check-up

Among the services offered by our family doctors is a comprehensive, personalized health check-up, which generally includes a physical examination and blood tests. It can be general in nature and done on an annual basis, or it can be tailored to address more specific concerns or requirements. In any case, the check-up can help monitor and/or diagnose certain conditions and diseases (high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, menopause and andropause, etc.). It usually takes place as follows:

• The doctor first establishes an overall picture by asking you about your personal and family history, the medications you are taking, your physical condition, and your lifestyle habits (alcohol, tobacco, drug, and coffee consumption).
• The doctor performs a physical examination.
• Tests, including blood tests, are carried out to check certain factors (blood sugar, cholesterol, liver function, etc.).
• The results are sent to you and appropriate follow-up is planned according to your condition and the doctor's diagnosis.
